I am not familiar with the Ferrari 512 BB but decided to get this model when Tomica made it. The main reasons I got this model was the opening features and additional details, being in the premium line. I am glad I got this into my collection because most of the features of this classic Ferrari was captured by Tomica. The 512 BB has distinct red top and black bottom parts, 5-spoke rims, interior, and lights, to name a few like in the real car. The paint details are great and in the right places. The Ferrari logos are still visible and detailed even in this small model. It is a treat that this 512 BB has two interactive features. The large engine hood at the back can open to reveal the painted engine. The front lights can open by pulling the lever at the bottom. The Tomica Premium Ferrari 512 BB is a good alternative if you cannot get the more expensive Tomica Limited version.
