The 1957 Ford Thunderbird is car number 5 of the unnamed five pack. I thought that 5-pack did not have a name, but it does after another release. In the Matchbox Fandom Wiki page, this 5-pack is known as the Open Road-Sters. Maybe the series is named to be like that because the models are mostly made up of roadsters or convertibles.
The Thunderbird proved to be a challenge to photoshoot because of its body paint color. Putting other colored backgrounds beside the cream white color you see in the photos makes the car look bad. With the cream white color, the beauty of this model surfaced. The casting details are cool like the defined bumper, vents, and spare tire. The interior is not too-detailed, just enough to make it look like one.
I remember some bloggers say that this Thunderbird is a classic Matchbox model, resized to be like the size of modern models. If it is true, then having this model gives you a chance to collect something historical. If not, it is still a nice and classic model.
