The Galactic Express is the bigger sibling of the Mad Manga. It is a fantasy representation of a real Japanese Dekotora or Decorated truck. The truck has some metal parts that are on the front top and bottom. The rest are plastic. The trailer is all plastic.
The reissue of the first edition of the Mad Manga is included with the Galactic Express. I am certain that the designers followed the color scheme of the car for the truck. Both has the same violet color and dynamic fantasy paint designs.
The truck and trailer can detach for display options. The Mad Manga and other cars can be placed in the trailer. Some things to consider when putting cars in the trailer are their lengths and heights. If the car is too wide or tall, it may not get in the trailer. The trailer can hold at most one full car, or a second smaller car if attempted.
I am glad that this model got a reissue because I missed the first run of this truck set. When this came out, I grabbed it and it was worth it, being a Mad Manga collector. I hope the second variant of this model also gets reissued so I can complete the current variations.
