One of the popular Japanese cupnoodle brand, Nissin, has become a Tomica diecast model. The model is a mascot car that appears like a large Nissin Cupnoodle. I find the build creative because the designers managed to merge both the shape of the cupnoodle with a car. The interior is made for 2 passengers, one for the drive and another for the non-driver. Another thing about the interior is the driver's wheel is on the right for the roads in Japan.
The Nissin Cupnoodle car is a rare model for me in the Dream Tomica lineup. I think this is the only model in my collection that has a full plastic body and a very small metal base. Maybe the designers did this because of the paint decorations and working feature placed in this model. If you look at the pictures you will see a screw on the driver's side. The hole can be patched with the included sticker sheet. I did not put the sticker because the model looks good to me even with the screw on the side.
If you ate a cupnoodle like the Nissin Cupnoodle, you know how it looks after you cook it. The flap on the top is peeled up to half of the cup for access. The same can be done with this car and that is so cool!
