I tried to write creative titles for my blog posts as suggested by the site, yet visitors don't seem to notice the changes. I found it ineffective, so I changed back to a more simpler way of giving titles to my blog posts. I will call the post review as Blog Review after the title. Maybe I will get back to learning and writing entertainment-style (click-bait) titles when I get desperate for attention. XDBack to the topic. I checked my collection for diecast models to review for the blog and stumbled upon my Bburago cars. All my current Burago cars are Ferraris so you will get plenty of this brand when it comes to Burago models. I have here the F355 Ferrari Berlinetta by Bburago. It is part of their Race and Play series with the scale of 1/43.
The F355 is a 90's Ferrari with a box appearance that may be the supercar fad during that decade. The Burago 1/43 interpretation is decent and similar to the real car. The wheels are large enough to fill the wheel wells unlike other Bburago cars in this scale. It has minimal paint decos like in the lights, logos, and badges for a realistic look. The interior has nice details with a couple of seats and driver's wheels with spokes.
I think the Race and Play line can be considered as a premium model because of the amount of details and plastic parts are more than a regular mainline car from a different brand. The interior has multiple parts and the front lights have plastic inserts. There is a sticker at the back for the license plate holder.
It's too bad that collectors pass Ferrari models when done by other brands like Bburago and Tomica. They are still stuck on wanting to get the Ferrari done by that brand, and missing the nice details done by other brands like Burago. Sure, Burago may have missed stuff to put on their models to make their Ferraris close to the original, but that brand always did the same, right (stylized wheels and kid-style proportions)? ;)
Dear reader, do not get me wrong. I am in no way sponsored by any brands like Bburago, Tomica, Matchbox, and Hot Wheels. I am doing my honest reviews because I appreciate the arts in the models, not because they were done solely by the brand. I review the model car as I see it.
