Majorette Porsche 934 Porsche Edition

Johnny Lightning Pop Culture Johnny Lightning Special Trivial Pursuit

It's been a while since I got a Johnny Lightning model and this one is a surprise for me. The model is called the Johnny Lightning Special and I do not know anything about it except it is part of the Pop Culture Series Release 1. I did a little research about this model and it has a real world version. It is nice to know this model is based on a real car rather than a fantasy one.

The model has a paint scheme about a classic board game called Trivial Pursuit. I have to be honest, this is the first time knowing about the game and I can compare it with the other classics such as Monopoly or Master Mind. The only clues I have about Trivial Pursuit are the poker chip prop and game card included with the model. Maybe the game is a guessing-type game given its title.
The car is of premium quality made with mostly metal, some plastic and rubber. It has nice paint decos not only on the body but on the wheels as well. The rims are made with plastic with spoke details and painted with chrome color. I assume this is one fast car given its slim configuration and wide tires.

Premium models are not exempted from having errors and my copy has a couple. The front axel is bent and the left wheel has an extra plastic that kept it from rolling. The extra plastic is inside the rim and did not take a photo of it. The car therefore does not roll well for the left front wheel. The error makes the car a nice display piece only, not a roller.

The Johnny Lightning Special is still a nice addition to my diecast collection even with a minor hiccup on the left front wheel because I only display the model in my desk. The included poker chip and game card are also nice additions for this car that somehow gives a small background of the Trivial Pursuit game. I will definitely check out the board game and know more a little about its gameplay.

5. Dear reader, do not get me wrong. I am in no way sponsored by any brands like Maisto, Bburago, Tomica, Matchbox, and Hot Wheels. I am doing my honest reviews because I appreciate the arts in the models, not because they were done solely by the brand. I review the model car or motorcycle as I see it.

Matchbox Porsche 911

The Porsche 911 Turbo is the third car in the 5-pack. It comes in red, shiny body paint with some paint designs in the right places. This is a cool car because it is very detailed for a Matchbox model. It has wipers, side mirrors, same sized wheels, and detailed interior. The model is an old casting, based on the date. I checked the date and it says 2001 with the old Matchbox logo during that year. I noticed that the 911 is a wider model compared to the present releases. It may be the standard size during those years that allowed the designers to add more details than usual. Hot Wheels Mystery 3 Chase Bone Shaker

The Summer Bone Shaker becomes a silver chase variant in the Mystery Models Series 3. This is the open rooftop edition that shows the detailed interior in chrome. The car has been repainted with a cool satin blue paint on the body. The paint designs have an aggressive racing face on the sides that are blended with black waves. Some more paint designs with the racer number 2 are on the front hood. This Summer Bone Shaker must always be a part of any core Bone Shaker collector. Majorette Porsche 934 Porsche Edition

Hello Reader! Welcome to the blog! If you are a frequent visitor, you noticed it has been a while since I posted here. My supposedly once a week plan kind of have gotten off-track because of things outside of my hobby. I still make time to continue with the blog like now, and will try to restart my once a week post plan. To begin the restart, here is the Porsche 934, Porsche Edition by Majorette. Porsche 934 Right Side. The Porsche 934, or the 934 is a car from the 5-car Porsche Edition set by Majorette that is exclusive to Target stores. I found this set at a Target and it looked like it was a peg warmer since there we multiples of it. The multiples looked like it had not moved much and a kind of dusty. I took one home for my collection because I know Majorette is a premium brand and it has nice details. Porsche 934 Front Right Side. Out of the 5 cars in the set, 2 were exclusives to this Porsche set. The 934 is one of the exclusive cars and it looks really good. The paint designs are
