Majorette Porsche 934 Porsche Edition

Hot Wheels Mad Manga from Galactic Express

The Mad Manga is one of my favorite models and the violet first edition came back with the Galactic Express truck. The car is not really the first edition, but a reissue to be with the truck. I have the original violet version of the Mad Manga and I will compare both in another post. The Mad Manga is a fantasy model of a bosozoku and you can find more details about its origin with this Hot Wheels Fan Wiki . Most are long like the fenders, front lip, and exhausts. Another thing that I like about the Mad Manga is it almost like a real bosozoku complete with side mirrors. The next post will cover the Galactic Express that has the same theme as this Mad Manga. Hot Wheels Mystery 3 Chase Bone Shaker

The Summer Bone Shaker becomes a silver chase variant in the Mystery Models Series 3. This is the open rooftop edition that shows the detailed interior in chrome. The car has been repainted with a cool satin blue paint on the body. The paint designs have an aggressive racing face on the sides that are blended with black waves. Some more paint designs with the racer number 2 are on the front hood. This Summer Bone Shaker must always be a part of any core Bone Shaker collector. Matchbox 1957 Ford Thunderbird

The 1957 Ford Thunderbird is car number 5 of the unnamed five pack. I thought that 5-pack did not have a name, but it does after another release. In the Matchbox Fandom Wiki page, this 5-pack is known as the Open Road-Sters . Maybe the series is named to be like that because the models are mostly made up of roadsters or convertibles. The Thunderbird proved to be a challenge to photoshoot because of its body paint color. Putting other colored backgrounds beside the cream white color you see in the photos makes the car look bad. With the cream white color, the beauty of this model surfaced. The casting details are cool like the defined bumper, vents, and spare tire. The interior is not too-detailed, just enough to make it look like one. I remember some bloggers say that this Thunderbird is a classic Matchbox model, resized to be like the size of modern models. If it is true, then having this model gives you a chance to collect something historical. If not, it is still a nice and

Matchbox 1971 Chevy Chevelle

The 1971 Chevy Chevelle is car number 4 in the unnamed 5-pack. It comes after the previous Porsche 911 Turbo. This is still a realistic model of the Chevelle and it looks good. The Chevelle appears as a convertible with smoked front windshield, red interior, paint stripe, and same sized wheels. The front and back casting details are part of the plastic base. I appreciate the detailing of this muscle car because the designers added a rare part in diecast models. The rare part is the set of foot pedals in the floor of the driver's seat. I will show the foot pedals in this Chevelle's upcoming videoart. Matchbox Porsche 911

The Porsche 911 Turbo is the third car in the 5-pack. It comes in red, shiny body paint with some paint designs in the right places. This is a cool car because it is very detailed for a Matchbox model. It has wipers, side mirrors, same sized wheels, and detailed interior. The model is an old casting, based on the date. I checked the date and it says 2001 with the old Matchbox logo during that year. I noticed that the 911 is a wider model compared to the present releases. It may be the standard size during those years that allowed the designers to add more details than usual. Matchbox Ford Police Interceptor

The Ford Police Interceptor is the second car in the 5-pack with the previous Opel Speedster model. This is one of the most frequent police cars released by Matchbox. The details are good like the pushbar in the front, side mirrors, and police lightbar on the roof. The interior has the drum form for the driver's wheel, command console, and car seats. I noticed that the wheels are smaller than a regular model. I think the designers did this for size adjustments. The paint designs are on the sides that look like decorations from a real police department. I tried to see if the badge is really authentic, but I think it is fictional for the world of Matchbox Originals. It still looks convincing even if it is fictional. Matchbox Opel Speedster

I took a chance in getting a 5-pack Matchbox and one of the models is this Opel Speedster. The first thing that I checked was the paint designs. I am glad the model has enough paint designs on the casting details like the lights. I observed the interior was a bit large and checked the copyright date at the bottom for clues. I discovered that this model is one of the older Matchbox cars with the date as 2002. This is fun, knowing that this is one old model released again for present day collectors. The details in this older model has more gaps than most present models to show plastic interior parts. The back window does not have plastic, but I think the real car does have a window on it. The air intakes on the sides and the vent at the back shows interior plastic parts.  I look forward to seeing the rest of the models in the 5-pack of this Opel Speedster! Monster Jam Mad Scientist

The truck that did the first front flip truck is now a Hot Wheels Monster Jam model! I had no idea why many Monster Jam fans online were talking about this truck until I watched the stunt video. The stunt was surreal, even if may have been done by accident. You can watch the video of the stunt online in many sites. The model has the Hot Wheels format of Monster Jam trucks like the large wheels, metal body, plastic chassis, and plastic suspensions. The wheels are poseable to let you reenact the stunts of some events. It also comes with a plastic flag that you can attach at the back of the truck. The paint designs are on the wheels, sides, and back. You know Hot Wheels, they like to leave out a part that is unpainted, and that is the front for this model. But I think I can let them go for now because they painted the wheels with mud color, and splattered some of that same color on the body.
